What is the Xplora Guardian app, and why do I need it?
The Xplora Guardian app is a companion app that gives parents full control over their child’s Xplora smartwatch. It lets you manage contacts, track GPS location in real time, limit screen time, and create safe zones—all from your own phone.
Can I see where my child is using the app?
Yes. The Guardian app shows your child’s live location with GPS and updates every few seconds. You can also set up safe zones and get alerts when your child enters or leaves those areas.
What are GPS Safe Zones?
Safe Zones are geofenced areas you can set in the app. You’ll receive alerts if your child enters or leaves these zones.

How do I pair the Xplora watch to my phone?
- Charge Your Watch:
Begin by fully charging your Xplora smartwatch. - Download the Xplora App:
On your smartphone, download the Xplora App from the App Store or Google Play. - Prepare Your Phone:
Ensure both Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled, and keep other devices away to avoid interference. - Create or Log in to Your Account:
Open the app, then either create a new account or log in using your mobile number and password. - Turn on the Watch:
Press and hold the power button on the watch for 10 seconds until it turns on. - Add the Watch to the App:
In the app, tap the + icon (top-right corner) to add a new device. - Pair Your Watch:
Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on the watch screen. - Complete Activation:
The watch will automatically pair with your phone. Your Xplora smartwatch is now activated and ready to use!
How many kids smartwatches can I manage with one app?
You can manage multiple watches for different children within the same account & still set up safe zones for the indepedent GPS kids smartwatch
Can I add more than one guardian?
Yes, you can add a second guardian with nearly identical access to manage the kids watch.
Is the Guardian app safe and private?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted, and only parent-approved contacts can communicate with your child. There’s no open internet or social media, making Xplora a safer alternative to traditional smartphones.
Do I need to pay extra for the Guardian app?
No. The app is included free with all Xplora Connect subscriptions. There are no hidden fees or premium upgrades needed for parental controls.
Can I control who my child talks to?
Yes. Only contacts you approve in the Guardian app can call or message your child. You can add, remove, or edit these contacts anytime from your own phone.
What happens during school hours?
With School Mode, you can set specific times when the watch disables all distractions. Your child can still be reached in an emergency, but they stay focused during class.
